The Solis RSD1L is a string-level rapid shutdown (RSD) device designed to meet NEC 2014 and later rapid shutdown requirements for rooftop solar installations in Canada. It works with Solis inverters equipped with the built-in RSD transmitter to cut DC voltage at the array within seconds of a shutdown signal, protecting firefighters and first responders.

The RSD1L handles one string input and one output — suitable for systems with a single PV string per MPPT channel, or where individual string control is required.
